The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is seeking to procure a portable Fume Hood System for Field and Industrial Operations intended for use during sampling, analytical, investigative, and related operational activities and inspections involving hazardous chemical substances or contaminated items as a protective measure for reducing operator exposure during the handling and processing of toxic industrial chemicals, hazardous laboratory reagents, unknown chemical samples, and other highly toxic substances requiring effective containment of hazardous vapours, liquids, particles, and aerosols. The System is intended for deployment in industrial facilities, field environments, and other temporary or non-purpose-built workspaces, and for routine transportation by road and air cargo.
